Olsa was founded by Eng. Alfredo Bertuzzi in the 1940s, to design and manufacture equipment for the growing chemical and pharmaceutical industry. Since then, Olsa has been a trusted partner of the main companies in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Cosmetic industry
1947
Eng. Bertuzzi founds Olsa S.p.A., to design and manufacture equipment for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry
1959
The business expands with Olsa France, to cater for the fast growing French cosmetics market
2006
A service and sales hub opens in North America, Olsa USA
2010
A new factory opens in France, and a new office opens in Milan
2016
Olsa's HQ moves to new facilities in Settala, doubling the production space in the next few years
2023
Olsa's production space and business has continued to grow and expand
